ILCA Club Quick Release Clew Block

The Club version of our quick-release clew block assembly pairs the Allen 20mm Plain Bearing Tii-On Block with a 5mm strip shackle featuring a retaining bar.

The plain bearing block offers a reliable and cost-effective alternative to the High Load version, making it ideal for club racing, training, and general sailing where durability and value are the priority.

The block remains permanently attached to the shackle without compromising overall length or overall performance. A stainless retaining bar ensures there is no risk of the block coming free, while still allowing the block to be replaced in the future if required.

The easy-to-use locking shackle can be operated confidently even when wearing gloves, making this Club assembly a practical and affordable solution for fast, secure clew attachment and release.

Top Tip: Squeeze the shackle mouth together to make fastening and undoing the shackle even easier.
