ILCA 6:1 Racer Downhaul

A refined, high-performance downhaul system designed for ILCA sailors who want fast, friction-free control.

This 6:1 downhaul system uses the ultra-smooth Allen 30mm High Load Tii-On blocks, engineered with stainless steel sheaves and bearings for exceptional durability and incredibly free-running performance under load. The result is a system that responds instantly, helping you achieve precise sail shape with minimal effort.

The primary line is 4mm SK78 Dyneema, offering outstanding strength, stability and near-zero creep – ideal for maintaining consistent Cunningham tension throughout your race.

The secondary line is Marlow Excel GP78, a high-strength, low-creep rope featuring a Technora-blended cover. This gives excellent grip even with wet hands, along with superb abrasion and heat resistance for long-term reliability.
