The ILCA Club Vang Upgrade is an affordable, no-fuss way to improve your existing ILCA vang system using the dependable Allen A2020Tii. Designed to offer smooth, low-friction performance in a lightweight package, this pack is ideal for club sailors and anyone wanting a reliable upgrade without the premium cost.

20mm Dynamic Tii-On Block

The A2020Tii has plastic sheaves that run on stainless steel ball bearings. This is our lightest option for secondary blocks. For further firction reduction we suggest upgrading to the A2022TiiHL.

Choose Your Secondary Line

Each Club Vang Upgrade includes a pre-spliced 3mm SK78 Dyneema primary line plus your choice of three secondary line options:

• Robline Polytech – Technora®/polyester blend for high durability and excellent grip.

• Robline Dinghy Control – SK78 Dyneema core with a polyester cover, offering smooth handling and reliable everyday performance.

• Marlow Excel Racing - D12 Dyneema SK78 core with a polyester cover, offering smooth handling and reliable everyday performance.

Installation

You will need to either tie or splice the Dyneema primary line to your top block. The secondary line just needs to be threaded around the lower vang unit.
